Approach to care
Our internal medicine physicians specialize in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases in adults. Their approach is on the whole person, taking into account all the factors which can affect one’s health. They utilize the latest diagnostic tools to identify health problems and provide a “first line” of care for their patients. When appropriate, they coordinate care with other specialists. A large part of the internal medicine practice is focused on preventative health and education. By listening to their patients and educating them about the state of their health, they act as advocates for a healthy and active lifestyle.
