Approach to care
A key component of our rheumatologist’s practice is devoted to diagnosing diseases or ailments. Often, patients will come to a rheumuatologist for answers. They are experiencing symptoms, but haven’t been able to find the cause of these symptoms. Our rheumatologists carefully review and discuss their medical history, perform exams and utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to detect the cause of a problem.
Once detected, our rheumatologists will develop a comprehensive treatment plan that helps patients eliminate or better manage the symptoms related to their condition. Often, the treatment plan will be a multidisciplinary approach involving physicians from different specialties. In these cases, our rheumatologists work together coordinating care for their patient’s benefit.
